What is a Thai company certificate?

Is the certificate the same as a certificate of incorporation?
Not exactly. The current certificate shows present registration facts. Incorporation documents are a separate historic package and can include บอจ.2, บอจ.3, บอจ.5, and minutes.
What is บอจ.5?
In the incorporation set, บอจ.5 is commonly the shareholder list at incorporation. It is not automatically the latest shareholder list filed later.
What is บอจ.3?
It is commonly tied to incorporation registration details. Exact contents vary by entity type. Do not treat the code as a promise of every field you hope to see.
Can I rely on a scan someone emailed me?
Ask for a file that can be checked against DBD's current process. This service retrieves a current official file rather than trusting an old attachment.
Does the certificate prove the company is in good commercial standing?
It shows registered facts. It does not score credit, litigation, or honesty.
Why might objectives appear on the Thai certificate but not the English one?
Thai and English are different official products. English objectives are a separate option on the English service.
How current is the certificate?
It reflects the current registration items DBD issues at request time. Later changes require a new request.
Do I need Thai to use the file?
You need someone who can read Thai, or you should order the official English certificate as well.
