Thai certificate versus English certificate
Do not treat the English file as a cheap translation of the Thai one. They come from different official services, with different fees and exception paths.

Can I just translate the Thai PDF myself?
A private translation is not the official English certificate. Many banks and counsel want the DBD English file they can verify.
Which one is cheaper at the government counter?
The Thai certificate items are a much lower official fee than the English service, which lists a starting fee around THB 1,160.
When do I need both?
When a Thai office and a foreign office each asked for their language. That is the bilingual pair.
Do both include objectives?
Thai certificates often include objective items in the item list. English registered activities are a distinct paid option with a longer estimate.
Which one verifies online?
The English service documents reference-number and digital-signature checks. Follow DBD's official verifier, not a screenshot.
Which one should a US or EU compliance team request?
Usually the official English certificate. Confirm whether they also want the activities list.
Does English take longer?
Without objectives we aim for 24 hours or less. With objectives, 3-4 Thai business days. English-data corrections can add time.
Can I order English and add Thai later?

Is one of them more official?
Both are official DBD products. They are not ranked. They answer different language requirements.
