How to check shareholders of a Thai company
If you need to know who is on the latest list filed with DBD, order that official file. Do not treat a website, a pitch deck, or a name on a card as the shareholder record.

Confirm the juristic person number so you do not retrieve a similar name.

Order the latest shareholder list with current identity documents.

Read the filing date on the official file.

Record listed names as filed shareholders, not as proven UBOs.

This guide explains the latest shareholder list as a filed DBD record and the limits of what it proves.
Use it when onboarding, investment, or counsel asked who owns the company on the official list.
Where does the official list come from?
DBD's latest shareholder list package. It is a certified copy of the latest list filed with DBD, usually charged per page.
Is that the same as ultimate beneficial ownership?
No. The list shows filed shareholders. Holding companies, nominees, and later unfiled changes can sit behind those names.
Is บอจ.5 the latest list?
บอจ.5 in an incorporation set is typically the list at incorporation. Current ownership can be different. Ask for the latest list.
Why is there a page allowance?
Lists can be one page or many. Official copies are often THB 50 per page. The Ownership Pack includes 20 pages unless updated in admin.
Can I get the list in English?
The official list is a Thai filing. Higher packs add a labeled English summary of what the file shows. That summary is not the official list.
Will you identify related companies?
Not from this guide or the Ownership Pack. Relationship graphs are a later product and need legal review.
What if no list is available?
Some entity types or statuses will not produce the file you expected. We record that and do not invent names.
Should I still get the current certificate?
Yes. The certificate identifies the entity and signing authority. The list answers a different question. Wave 1 sells them together in the Ownership Pack.
Can I publish the list?
Treat it as sensitive. It can contain personal names. Our delivery is a controlled download, not a public page.
